Melissa

I have been working in Orthodontics since 1998, and I am a DANB certified orthodontic assistant. My favorite part of my job is interacting with our patients. We have such a wide age variety, seeing patients between the ages of 5 yrs to 80 yrs. It is such a beautiful feeling when I help our patients achieve a radiant, confident smile!

Milly

I have been an Orthodontic Assistant for over 30 years, and several years ago completed the education to become a Certified Dental Assistant. I have had the wonderful experience of being part of Dr. Schechtman's Orthodontic team for 16 years. Dr. Schechtman's has his patient's needs first and foremost. He is always keeping abreast of all the newest advances in his field and bringing those benefits to his patients. It is amazing to see our patients "grow up" before our eyes to become young adults. For all our patients young and young at heart the end results are a fantastic smile that lasts a lifetime. That first look in the mirror when they get their braces off is so rewarding!

I have been working for Dr Schechtman since August 1995. In that time, I have become very experienced in multiple areas of our practice: I am a certified orthodontic assistant, a treatment coordinator and a front office staff person as well. I enjoy meeting and working with all our wonderful patients and parents. I like to make our patients feel comfortable with their orthodontic experience and working with them through the step-by step process to achieve a beautiful new smile. What a joy it is to see their glowing faces when they see their new smile for the first time!

As Treatment Coordinator, meeting new patients and ensuring that they feel comfortable here and have all the information they need about our office, new orthodontic advances, and their treatment are my first priorities. Having had my own children go through braces (and myself years ago!), I can appreciate any concerns and questions our patients, and parents may have. Interacting with our light-hearted, people-friendly and knowledgeable orthodontist and staff is another plus of my job. The atmosphere here is always friendly and positive, and it's great to watch Dr. Schechtman use his vast orthodontic knowledge and experience to transform some hidden smiles to bright healthy and happy ones!"

Having worked in a medical office setting for several years, I am familiar with the needs of both our patients and parents. As Dr. Schechtman's Business Manager, I am committed to ensuring our patients and parents are completely satisfied with the personal attention they receive. I enjoy working with Dr. Schechtman because he strives to provide a warm, energetic and positive environment for each patient along with a commitment to excellent care.

I have worked at the "front desk " area in orthodontics for 18 years. I bring this prior experience and expertise with another orthodontic office to benefit Dr. Schechtman's patients. I have always tried to make both parents and patients feel comfortable and know they will receive the best care and attention possible. It is a pleasure working with Dr. Schechtman who is caring, conscientious and has a wonderful sense of humor.

Lorena

I have been working as an orthodontic dental assistant for over five years. I attended the New York School for Medical & Dental Assistants where I obtained a Certificate as a Dental Assistant. After finishing school I was looking for a challenging yet rewarding position. As luck would have it, I joined Dr. Schechtman's orthodontic practice 3 yrs ago. I enjoy our office, working with Dr. Schechtman and our staff, and most importantly enjoy caring for our patients. I look forward to seeing you at your next visit!

I have over ten years experience in the dental field. In handling all of our insurance claims and insurance matters I always try my best to efficiently service our patient's needs. My ability to understand and work with insurance companies makes me an asset to Dr. Schechtman's practice and patients.
